Three newscasters often seen reporting and commenting on current events relating to Spawn in some way.

Typically, the first newscaster (a female usually working for a cable news network) reports the news in a clinical, deliberate fashion.

The second newscaster (a blonde skinny man), usually works for an entertainment network and tends to skew his reports to cover more gossip and hearsay.

The third newscaster (an overweight man with a goatee) is the most opinionated of the bunch. He often delivers a small amount of news amidst a verbose rant. He changes news stations almost every time we see him.

A buyer for Tabloid Tonight, Nikki Hanson was contacted about purchasing footage of Spawn. A cameraman managed to take pictures of Spawn pulling victims of a plane crash from the wreckage and then tried to sell it to Nikki.

When Nikki arrived at the cameraman's home, however, she found him dead with Spawn standing over him. Later, after rethinking his place in the world, Spawn delivered the footage of him to her himself.

A biogenetic agent developed by Liz Arno and Kevin Bergregor of Medlab 005 in Brazil. Nugen mutates DNA and reanimates the dead into feral monsters.

Its creators intended to destroy the worlds population with Heat-16 then recreate it with Nugen, but they were killed by Jessica Priest before they could complete their plans.
